
CWS Officially CJSOI Telecommunications Partner
CWS commits SCR 1.2 million in connectivity support for the Commission for Youth and Sports of the Indian Ocean Games 2025.

Cable and Wireless Seychelles (CWS), one of the leading telecommunications providers in Seychelles, proudly announced its commitment to the upcoming Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien (CJSOI), or Commission for Youth and Sports of the Indian Ocean Games, to be held in Seychelles from August 1–10, 2025.
CWS Director Project & Programmes, Annabelle Pillay, accompanied by CWS Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Daphne Raoul, and CWS representatives, met the CEO of SNC Marc Arissol and members of the CJSOI Local Organising Committee (LOC) to officially sign the ceremonial Letter of Understanding between CJSOI and CWS. This marks CWS's sponsorship of SCR 1.2 million in connectivity, reaffirming CWS as the official telecommunications partner of the Games.
Comprehensive Connectivity Package
As part of its sponsorship, CWS will provide:
- Full internet infrastructure and equipment
- 24/7 technical support for the CJSOI's main venues and 6 podiums, where athletes will receive medals
- An additional sponsorship worth SCR 60,000
This sponsorship is aligned with CWS's mission to support youth empowerment and national development through technology and initiatives that bring the community closer together.
Supporting Regional Excellence
During the handover ceremony at the Moloko restaurant, CWS Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Daphne Raoul, stated:

This edition of the CJSOI Games will bring together 1,142 participants from 7 countries, competing in 11 sporting disciplines. Raoul added that the Games represent a significant investment in healthier youth and in supporting their advancement in chosen sporting fields.
